While at Georgetown, Cecily helped produce an award-winning documentary about an innocent man behind bars, was a teaching assistant for the school’s infamous “Making an Exoneree” course, founded the Georgetown University Prison Divestment Committee, and interned for several political campaigns. She also provided college counseling to students at underserved D.C. high schools, wrote articles for The Hoya, and edited Momolu Stewart’s memoir. After graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, Cecily was a research fellow at The Frederick Douglass Project for Justice where she helped launch the Prison Visitation Program. She is currently a Post-Conviction Paralegal at the Innocence Project. She will begin pursuing her J.D. at Harvard Law School in August 2024. In her free time, Cecily enjoys playing volleyball, biking, and making ceramics.
