While at Columbia, Drew conducted translational cancer research in both academic and industry laboratories and co-founded Columbia’s first club devoted to sports analytics. He also served as the Chapter Director for Camp Kesem, leading fundraising, operational, and outreach efforts to organize a free summer camp to support over 130 children impacted by a parent’s cancer diagnosis. After graduating, Drew coordinated therapeutic clinical trials for the Pediatric Solid Tumor team at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. Currently, he supports cancer screening and prevention efforts at the INOVA Schar Cancer Institute, provides companionship and respite services as a hospice volunteer, and remains an integral member of multiple research teams working towards publication. In his free time, he enjoys playing and obsessively following a variety of sports, reading psychological thrillers, and puzzling his way through chess games and the New York Times crossword.
