While at Vanderbilt, Emily served as the Editor-in-Chief of Vanderbilt’s literary and arts magazine, a research assistant in the Maxcey Cognitive Psychology lab, and as a gallery liaison at the Cohen Fine Arts Gallery. As the recipient of the Dieter and Ingrid Sevin Award for Academic Achievement and the first-place Margaret Stonewall Wooldridge Hamblet Grant for Artistic Research & Practice, she moved to Berlin following graduation to participate in an artist residency program. Upon returning to NYC, Emily worked at David Zwirner gallery, and now serves as the Account Manager at Brooklyn-based design agency Mother Design. In her spare time she writes German translations for the Guggenheim Museum and makes jewelry.
