While at Vanderbilt, Robert conducted clinical orthopedic surgery research and translational research in a radiation oncology lab, for which he was awarded Highest Honors in Neuroscience. He also co-founded Change++, an organization that pairs students with nonprofits to offer technical/software capabilities, and helped run “make-a-thon” events to create assistive technology devices for individuals with mental and physical disabilities. After graduating cum laude, Robert worked in Research & Development at Roivant Sciences, a biotechnology company in New York City. He is currently a first-year medical student at Weill Cornell Medical College. In his free time, he enjoys playing with his dog, drawing, playing tennis, and trying new coffee shops.
