Zoe

While completing a full pre-medicine course load at Duke, Z was a basketball coach for a little league team, the head of the tour guide program, and an executive member of the Biology Department Cultural Union. They also received the Pursuing Purpose Fellowship from the Duke Kenan Institute of Ethics. Throughout their senior year, Z worked as an assistant for the Phluid Foundation, an NYC-based foundation that uses corporate donations to fund grassroots organizations supporting the transgender and gender nonconforming community. Z has also worked for FIFA during the 2023 Women’s World Cup, on a farm in New Zealand, and as a server in the West Village. In their free time, Z enjoys playing the drums, hiking, and listening to music.
